What we collect

• Contact and quote forms: the details you type, such as your name, company, email and message. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and to prepare a quotation.
• Analytics, only if you accept: if you press Accept in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_PJTYLTGX6W and collects page views, approximate location, device and browser type. If you reject, nothing is loaded.
• Cookie choice: we store your choice in a first-party cookie, orbit_consent, for about six months.
• Technical logs: our hosting provider may process IP addresses and request data to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our email and hosting providers also keep technical logs for their own limited periods.

We do not run advertising on this site. We do not ask for sensitive personal data.

Who receives your data

• Our sales team and our North American sales agent, Primealux Alloys: enquiry emails go to Orbit and to its sales agent so the right team can reply.
• Resend, the email service that delivers form messages to us.
• Vercel, our hosting provider.
• Google, only if you accept analytics. Google processes the data under its own terms.

These providers may process data outside Jordan, including in the United States and the European Union.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of our business dealings, and we delete them when they are no longer needed. If you want your enquiry deleted, email info@orbitalu.com and we will do so within 30 days, unless we must keep it by law. Analytics data is kept by Google for the period set in our Google Analytics account. The consent cookie lasts about six months.

Legal basis

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or similar laws apply: your consent for analytics; our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, or steps taken at your request before a contract.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your data protection authority. These rights apply under Jordan’s Personal Data Protection Law, the GDPR, UK GDPR and Canadian law where relevant. Email info@orbitalu.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can change your cookie choice at any time with the cookie settings link in the footer.

Security

The site uses HTTPS and standard protections. No online service is completely secure.

The site is for business users and is not directed at children.
