Alloy Guide.

Alloy choice comes first in a coil specification. These guides cover the 1xxx, 3xxx and 5xxx series that Orbit rolls, how temper is written, and how pairs such as 3003 and 5052, or 5052 and 6061, compare for coil coating and forming. Orbit's rolled aluminum coil is 0.20 to 2.00 mm thick and up to 1650 mm wide. Each guide links to the rolled aluminum coil page and to the datasheets page, where alloy, temper and dimensional data are available on request.
