Alloy 5xxx · PE / PUPA
Coated aluminum coil for truck and trailer panels.
Wide coil in durable coatings and any RAL color, for road vibration, weather and washing.
- Alloy 5xxx
- PE / PUPA
- Typically 0.80 – 2.00 mm
- Wide coil for large panels
Application
Wide format, durable finish.
Wide coil with coatings that resist road grime, washing and UV. HDPE covers most fleet bodies; PVDF is chosen where color must stay sharp across a long service life and livery.
Related applications: License plates · ACP

Wash bay and road exposure.
Durable coil coatings hold color and gloss through pressure washing, detergents and constant exposure.

Transportation panel requirements
Truck and trailer panels need strength-to-weight, corrosion resistance, and a finish that survives road exposure, washing and weather while keeping fleet livery consistent across large panel areas.
5xxx alloys deliver higher strength-to-weight for the panel; a tough coating such as PUPA combines paint toughness with the flexibility needed for forming. Wide coil supports large single-panel sides.
Quality & compliance
Testing and documentation.
Certified production
Production is certified to ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety).
Tests that matter here
Coated coil is checked on a panel of tests including impact resistance, MEK rub (cure), salt spray and adhesion. See quality & certifications for how this is documented.
Documentation with the batch
Material certificates accompany every batch; ASTM and EN references are available on request.
