Alloy 3xxx · HDPE / PVDF / PE
Prepainted aluminum coil for gutters.
Corrosion-resistant coil for gutters and downspouts, in any RAL color, with coatings matched to coastal or inland exposure.
- Alloy 3xxx
- HDPE / PVDF / PE
- Up to 1350 mm coated
- RAL or custom color
Application
Coating by climate.
Gutters cycle wet and dry. HDPE covers durable, cost-effective rainware; PVDF suits the coast and long-term color hold. Mill-finish coil is available where gutters are painted on site or left natural.

Coil for seamless machines.
Seamless gutter machines need coil that runs true and holds gauge so profiles form cleanly and lengths stay straight.

Why aluminum gutters
Gutters are in constant contact with water, so corrosion resistance is paramount; aluminum is the residential and light-commercial standard for exactly this reason, and seamless gutters are roll-formed on site from coil. In North American gutter and fascia work, the same prepainted coil is sold as trim coil.
Design and forming
Clean T-bend performance is needed because seamless gutter machines roll-form the coil into a profile on site, bending the painted surface tightly, and a brittle coating would crack at the bend. Consistent color across batches matters because gutters and downspouts are ordered as a matched set and installed side by side. As a general guide, coastal installations favor PVDF for color hold, while general inland use is well served by lower-cost HDPE.
Quality & compliance
Testing and documentation.
Certified production
Production is certified to ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety).
Tests that matter here
Coated coil is checked on a panel of tests including salt spray, T-bend flexibility and adhesion. See quality & certifications for how this is documented.
Documentation with the batch
Material certificates accompany every batch; ASTM and EN references are available on request.
Gutter coil questions.
Is gutter coil the same as aluminum trim coil?
They overlap. In North America, the prepainted aluminum coil used for gutters, downspouts and fascia is commonly called gutter coil or trim coil. Orbit supplies it corrosion-resistant, in any RAL color, in gutter gauges.
What aluminum is used for gutters?
Gutters use coated aluminum coil, corrosion-resistant and matched to any RAL color.
Which coating for coastal gutters?
PVDF is typically specified for coastal exposure; HDPE suits general inland use.
Can you match my gutter color?
Yes. Orbit matches any RAL or custom color.
What thickness is typical for gutters?
Gutter coil is typically 0.60 to 0.80 mm; the exact gauge is confirmed per order.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is 6.5 MT, plus or minus 10 percent.
What to send with your RFQ.
Include these and we can return a coil specification and quote without back-and-forth.
- Application and substrate (aluminum or steel)
- Alloy and temper, if known
- Gauge and coil width
- Coating system and color (a RAL number or a sample)
- Quantity and destination port
Our technical office reviews every RFQ and replies with a specification and quote. We respond to RFQs within one business day.
